Calendar — Community App Review
Version: 0.1.4
Calendar reads the calendars already on the phone, so a Nextcloud, Fastmail or iCloud calendar set up in DAVx5 is simply there, and so is a Google one. There is no account in it and it never reaches the network.
Four views: a month that lists each day’s events and runs all-day and multi-day ones across the days they cover, as Etar’s does; a week and a day as timelines, twelve hours at a time; and an agenda of the months ahead. A swipe across turns a page, a swipe up or down moves the hours, and nothing scrolls or animates.
Repeats can be every so many days, weeks, months or years, on chosen weekdays, on the 25th or the fourth Friday or the last one, and end on a date or after a number of times. “Every 10 days, 5 times” is one screen. A rule made elsewhere that it cannot show is said so and left alone rather than rewritten.
Reminders come from the phone’s calendar store, so the ones you set on your server ring here too, each once. With the phone asleep a reminder can wake the screen with the event on it; there is a setting for a notification alone.
If you use Etar, remove it once you have switched, or both will ring for every reminder.
It started from David’s KompaktCalendar, which got a great deal right about how a calendar should feel on this phone, and takes its repeat rules from Etar.
