I did not mean to imply that a browser is necessary on a minimalist phone. As I commented elsewhere in the forum, I am not looking for a minimalist phone. The Kompakt appeals to me on account of its size and e-ink display. I would be glad if it were to come with apps consistent with their philosophy installed as long as I can install other apps.
