Back button doesn't work after turning on

hi there, i’ve experienced an issue with the back button on my device since i pulled it out of the box.

i upgraded the firmware to the newest version, but after turning on it does not work at all. i was wondering if there were documentation i could use to tap into the serial device and get some form of debugging output on which buttons are getting hit when from the OS so i can determine if it’s able to receive the physical input.

@tyana Thanks for letting us know. Would you be able to send logs to us via Mudita Center? Are you a github user?

yeah, i heard back from support on my RMA but will pull log prior to and send via mudita center. yes, i am a github user. i know the button works to start the phone, but after boot its unresponsive.
