Aurora store downloads Issue

Hello,

This only became an issue in the past few weeks, I’ve been using it fine otherwise for the about a year..

The problem is that if I try to download or update any of my apps through the aurora store.it gives me an error message. It says:

“invalid or corrupted APK

INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_APK: Session: 1615928014. No packages staged in /data/app/vmdl1615928014.tmp”

Possibly related: i often get a banner alert in aurora store that says “Oops, account rate is limited”

They suggest clearing the cache which i dont think you can do on a Kompakt? i had a brief look in settings but couldn’t see anything. Possibly related: i often get a banner alert in aurora store that says “Oops, account rate is limited”

I also tried logging in to aurora with a google account, but this doesn’t work. the google account login portal gives a 404 error. Presumably because the Kompakt cannot use google services? Its confusing how in this forum article ( Aurora Store problems ) , people mention that you can log into aurora store with a google account. I can’t get that to work. as soon as i click login to google account

Mucked around with random settings and got it working somehow. I went into settings inside the aurora app and set the installation method to Native installer. Then i changed it back to session installer. I think thats what made it work.

Aurora Store seems to work normally again.

If it still doesn’t work, and clearing the cache is not possible, uninstall and re-install Aurora Store. Then it should work again.

Yes, this was a global outage from Aurora Store. Nothing related to you or your settings.
