Anybody else still have the Bluetooth device bug despite the update?

Hi ,

I have the latest update which i believed was supposed to fix the issue with the Kompakt recognizing\remembering bluetooth devices .

I still cannot get my Sony bluetooth headphones to connect to the kompakt. The kompakt searches but never finds them. The first time I ever tried this back in April the Kompakt found and paired with these headphones but it has never since.

Any ideas ? headphones have no connection issues with various other devices.

The bug is only partially fixed for some users, but the lack of bluetooth history is still an issue and I think they said it will be fixed in next update in September.

For Sony headphones use Sony Sound Connect app, and you should be able to recconect to them as a work-around until it is fixed.

That’s what I do with my Nothing Earphones (I use the nothing earphone companion app).

Yep the app seems necessary as of today. Another trick that seems to work for me is to enable multi-point connection on the headphones, if they support it.

Yes that helps, but if your earphones are connected to another device they won’t recconnect to the Kompakt if you just turn bluetooth. Because normally u need the bluetooth list and then click on the earphones to “call” them to re-connect, and that list is not there at the moment.

There are other general use apps like “Bluetooth Audio Connect Widget” that will work for different devices.

Yeah that’s the issue. But I found that multi-point connection helps the headphones to connect automatically, even if you connect to other devices. Idk might be dependent on the headphones as well :person_shrugging:
