Any launchers receiving notifications from side loaded apps?

It’d be nice to know if I’ve received a notification from sideloaded apps without having to rely on hearing a ping. I fear the lack of notifications will make me go on the phone even more, just to check the status of sideloaded apps every now and again.

I know people are testing out some launchers and I saw that one launcher in particular can provide sideloaded notifications (though I believe it failed to work on the Kompakt for other reasons).

Just wondering what launchers are working for people, and if anyone has luck with notifs. Also, is it possible to run the launchers natively (as in, I click the home button and it loads the launcher), or is Mudita OS K default no matter what?

Absolutely no issues with OS K, I actually love the visual style they’re going for, but it seems like there’s no intention to add sideloaded notifications at all.

@spencersabo Mudita Kompakt does not have a notifications tray- so, I’m not sure how that would work with sideloaded launchers. Maybe other community members can comment.

@spencersabo Niagra launcher has embedded notifications and works really well. Youll need to attach a keyboard to the MK when installing for the first time however as you need to press tab and enter to select the finished button when initially setting your apps

Someone here on the forum is working on a fork of olauncher with notification

Another option is to to download notification app and use it with native launcher (but to check notifications you have to open the app)
