Amazon's creepy surveillance robot

Amazon in-home, Facebook outside. A full package I may say.

That is some really dystopian tech right there. Going to be used to tag and identify anyone not already on their network(s).

You would expect this from KGB/CIA spooks, and their motives are often questionable but they are usually well understood (not to say justifiable). With commercial entities doing the spying or outsourcing it to UberSpies, you can never be sure who the data is being sold to, or for what purpose, or when.

Did you see this one? It will be “smelly”.

@roberto This is BEYOND creepy.

I am curious if you will be able to flush during electricity outage. Or imaging not being able to flush cause it’s doing updates like windows 10.

While we are on a “potty” topic, add this piece of … err… technology to the list:

Yet another way for amazon to take your money. Read some top reviews, people make fun of it.

I’ve deleted today my amazon account. I’ll find other solutions for my needs.

@roberto I saw a news segment on this and I have to admit that it’s a bit unsettling.

A “boiling frog syndrome” under the premise: “I don’t have anything to hide.”
