I’ve had my mudita now since last October and have absolutely loved the peace and quiet it brings me….especially the awesome Call-Blocking feature!! No more annoying calls from anyone who isn’t a friend, family member, or coworker…thank you!! I love not ever having to acknowledge or see that someone tried to call me.
SMS is the only downside at the moment and honestly I don’t use it as all my family and friends use signal, whatsapp, or other apps and/or email. 2fa is setup with a seperate phone thats on silent mode all the time on wifi.
This being said, the issue is though the call-blocking works like a champ, the sms still allows annoying things such as ads, political texts, and other junk from numbers that constantly change and are not in the contacts.
Please add the same rule for messages of “Allow incoming SMS from contacts only”
Same idea as calls. If they are not saved, the text doesn’t appear, alert, or notification.
A simple “Disable SMS” switch would also work for me. I do not use this number for 2fa or banks, etc. Signal, WhatsApp, VoIP cover all of that for me. I would turn SMS off and leave it off for peace and quiet.
Would be happy to test a beta. THank you again for such a wonderful phone I’ve felt so much happier being able to now block out over 99% of noise in my life from ads blockers, to FOSS products, and now this awesome phone for the last year life has been much more peaceful and given back the control we should all have in our own lives.
