Albert Heijn supermarkt — Community App Review

Albert Heijn is a supermarket chain in the Netherlands. This app is not very necessary for a Mudita Kompakt. I’ve only sideloaded this because in order to get the “acties” (promotions) you have to have the Albert Heijn card. Since last a couple years, the supermarket near my work or my house removed the physical cards, so only way to scan a Albert Heijn promotion card is the app. So if you want your second can of tuna for free and you have lost your physical card, application works.
It generates your card’s barcode, when it does screen brightness automatically goes to max, never had a problem with scanners on the barcode reading.
I do not personally use it, but app also allows you to see the current promotions in the stores or in the online store, order groceries to your house or spend your loyalty points.
These seems to be working, I can search the items and see their prices, look their nutritional values etc.
I can add it to cart and order it home, not that i tried but i can go until the payment page and it triggers my banking app too.
I’m using inkOS on my Mudita Kompakt, good thing about this is (thank you @gezimos), I can hide the actual app and create a shortcut for the loyalty card. So whenever I click the shortcut, it immediately opens my loyalty card, I don’t have to shuffle through the application.
I don’t think this app generates notifications, even so, I have not received any.
Core features work, though i did not tried to “track an order” as I never order groceries online.
Have not crashed once.
